Nady Osmat, founder and president of Element One Energy, is a seasoned storage tank and vessel engineer with more than 15 years of experience. He is uniquely qualified to design and lead the manufacturing process for storage systems requiring the large pressures and low temperatures associated with hydrogen.
Mr. Osmat has vast experience with liquid, gaseous and solid storage of hydrogen. His leadership has expanded Element One’s portfolio in the renewable energy space. This includes a large focus on green hydrogen generation through water electrolysis, hydrogen storage through metal hydrides and various thermodynamic hydrogen compression methods.
With a passion for energy transformation away from hydrocarbons, Mr. Osmat leverages his experience to lead the product development efforts that provide significant value to Element One’s goal of net zero.
In his last role, he served as the COO of a large manufacturing firm in Chicago serving the gas industry. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and currently a PhD student in Electrical Engineering at the University of Colorado. Mr. Osmat holds several certifications in design, leadership and engineering from several institutions including Harvard University, Purdue University and Leadership Management International.
