Dr. Andreas Janssen is a mechanical engineer by background who obtained a PhD from RWTH Aachen University in the field of Diesel engine development and joined Shell about 10 years ago. Since then, he held various technical and commercial leadership positions in different Downstream businesses. Today, Andreas is responsible for Shell’s Hydrogen Mobility Business in Europe focusing predominantly on the heavy-duty, marine and aviation sectors. In addition, Andreas manages all hydrogen related activities in Germany as a member of the country Leadership Team.
